Rewarded institutions
The President of the Republic Presided, in the Champalimaud Foundation, in Lisbon, at the award ceremony of the 2015 António Champalimaud Vision Prize, which distinguished the joint work carried out by three institutions: the Kilimanjaro Centre for Community Ophthalmology (KCCO), the SEVA Foundation and SEVA Canada.
The President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, will hold a State Visit to Portugal, from 7 to 9 September instant, at the invitation of President Cavaco Silva.

The President of the Republic journeyed to the County of S. Brás de Alportel, where he visited a social aid institution, a cultural institution and a company which had introduced innovatory processes.
The President of the Republic requested from the Constitutional Court the preventive supervision of a provision in the Bill that approved the juridical rulings of the Intelligence System of the Portuguese Republic.
