The President of the Republic addressed a congratulatory message to the President of the European Court of Auditors, Dr. Vítor Caldeira, upon his re-election for a third mandate in this office.

Ceremony in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic decorated football player and captain of the National Team, Cristiano Ronaldo, with the grade of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator, in a ceremony held in the Palace of Belém.
Ceremony in the Place of Queluz
The President of the Republic received, in the Palace of Queluz, New Year Greetings from the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Portugal, having then addressed a speech.
Ceremony in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic received letters credential from new ambassadors in Portugal.
Greetings from the Armed Forces
The President of the Republic received New Year greetings from the Chiefs of General Staff of the Armed Forces, whom he later hosted at lunch in the Palace of Belém.
President receives greetings from the Magistracy in Belém
The President of the Republic received New Year greetings from the President, Vice-Presidents and Judges of the Supreme Court of Justice, from the President and Judges of the Constitutional court, from the President of the Supreme Administrative Court, from the Auditor General and from the Attorney General.
Portuguese Diplomatic Corps
The President of the Republic received New Year greetings from Portuguese Ambassadors accredited with many States and international organizations.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the governing Officers of the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP).
