On the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of the Republic of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam, and Mrs. Mary Tan, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a dinner in Ajuda National Palace, at the beginning of which President Cavaco Silva and his Singaporean counterpart delivered speeches.
Tony Tan Keng Yam received in Belém
At the beginning of the State Visit he is holding in Portugal, the President of the Republic of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam, met with President Cavaco Silva in the Palace of Belém.
The President of the Republic will hold a State Visit to the Chinese People’s Republic at the invitation of His Excellency the President of the Chinese People’s Republic, Xi Jinping, between the dates of 13 and 18 May instant. In this Visit the President of the Republic will travel to Shanghai, Beijing and to the Macau Special Administrative Zone.
The President of the Republic sent a congratulatory message to athlete Rui Bragança, who was declared European champion of Taekwondo in the 58 Kg category, in this sports championship event, held in Azerbaijan.
