The President of the Republic closed the international conference “Portugal – April Routes: Democracy, Compromise and Development”, which he promoted in Lisbon, within the scope of the Routes to the Future initiative, and in which the final debates were focused on the challenges faced by Development.

The President of the Republic opened, in Lisbon, the international conference “Portugal –April Routes: Democracy, Commitment and Development”, which launched a debate focused on the Spirit of Democracy, the Culture of Commitment and the Challenges of Development, and in which both national and foreign speakers took part.

The President of the Republic decorated, with the Grand Cross of the Military Order of Christ, the former Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff, General Luis Evangelista Esteves de Araújo, and the former Chief of the Naval General Staff, Admiral José Carlos Torrado Saldanha Lopes.
