Meeting with investors
In the last day of his official visit to Abu Dhabi, the President of the Republic held meetings with investors, representatives of sovereign funds and large local entrepreneurs.
The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of Eng. José Sousa Veloso.

The President of the Republic congratulated the “Cante Alentejano” – Traditional Alentejo Folksong – choirs and the promoters of the candidacy of this vocal art that was named today as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as decided by the UNESCO International Committee.

The President of the Republic will honour the national Table Tennis team which was recently awarded the title of European champion, the first time ever that a Portuguese team received an international title in this sport.
Meeting with entrepreneurs
At the end of the first day of his stay in Abu Dhabi, the President of the Republic held a meeting, in the Residence of the Portuguese Embassy, with entrepreneurs and Portuguese participants in the Meeting of the Portugal-United Arab Emirates Mixed Committee, which is taking place on the Country’s capital.
Mosque in Aby Dhabi
As included in the programme of his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, the President of the Republic visited the Sheik Al Zayed Mosque, in Abu Dhabi, the largest ever built in the world.
Focus on investments
The President of the Republic held a meeting, in Abu Dhabi, with Sheik Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, leader of ADIA – Investments Sovereign Fund and ETHIAD Airways of the United Arab Emirates.
Meeting in Abu Dhabi
At the beginning of his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, the President of the Republic held a meeting with the Drown Prince and Acting President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheik Mohammad bin Zayed al Nahyan, who later hosted him at lunch.
Ambassador Francisco Xavier Esteves
The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador Francisco Xavier Esteves, to whom he handed Letters Credential as the diplomatic representative of handed Letters Credential to new Portuguese Ambassador in Tokyo, Japan.
Carlos Moedas received in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Eng. Carlos Moedas.
