Foreword of the Book “Routes IX”
On the anniversary of the empowerment for his second mandate, on 9 March, the President of the Republic discloses the Foreword to “Routes IX”, which brings together his main public addresses throughout the last year.
The President of the Republic sent a congratulatory message to athlete Nélson Évora, who achieved the title of European triple jump champion in the athletic events being held in Prague.

Project in Esposende
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act of the Refurbishment of S. Bartolomeu do Mar Seafront, in Esposende.
Visit in Leça do Balio
The President of the Republic presided at the celebrations of the 125th Anniversary of the Unicer Brewery, held in the Company’s Production Centre in Leça do Balio, Matosinhos.
János Áder received in Belém
The President of the Republic received the President of Hungary, János Áder, who is on a private visit to Portugal.
Both Mrs. Cavaco Silva and the Hungarian First Lady, Anita Herczeg, took part in the event, held in the Palace of Belém.
Ahmet Davutoglu received in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu.
Prizes awarded in the Gulbenkian Foundation
The President of the Republic presided at the Closure of the 11th COTEC National Meeting on Innovation, held in the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon.
Empowerment in Belém
The President of the Republic empowered Prof. Doctor Alfredo Bruto da Costa as Councillor of Sate.
Audience in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, Dr. Isabel Mota, a Director on the Board of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
