On the last day of his official visit to Norway, the President of the Republic visited, in the neighbourhood of the coastal city of Bergen, the aquaculture complex Buaroy Fish Farm, from the Leroy fish suppliers.
With the Portuguese in Bergen
At the end of the second of his official visit to Norway, the President of the Republic joined, in the coastal city of Bergen, with members of the Portuguese Community in the country.

In the second stage of his official visit to Norway, the President of the Republic visited, in the coastal city of Bergen, the Norwegian Fisheries Centre, accompanied by the Norwegian Minister of Fisheries, Ms. Elisabeth Aspaker, and by the Portuguese Minister of Agriculture and the Sea, Ms. Assunção Cristas.
Meeting in Oslo
The President of the Republic held a meeting, in Oslo, with 20 Portuguese entrepreneurs from various sectors of activity, who had travelled to Norway on the occasion of the Head of State’s official visit.
Breakfast with entrepreneurs in Oslo
On the second day of his official visit to Norway, the President of the Republic held a working breakfast in Oslo, with leaders of large Norwegian companies from the energy, technology, industry, banking and navigation sectors, in which also took part several Portuguese entrepreneurs.
Dinner in Akerhus Castle
At the end of the programme of the first day’s official visit to Norway, the President of the Republic attended a dinner held in his honour, hosted the Norwegian Prime Minister, Ms. Erna Solberg.
Exhibition in the National Architectural Museum
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act, in the National Architectural Museum, in Oslo, of the exhibition “Álvaro Siza Vieira, Visions of the Alhambra”, dedicated to the Portuguese architect.
Meeting with Erna Stolberg
The President of the Republic held a meeting with the Norwegian Prime Minister, Ms. Erna Solberg, in which were also present the members of the Portuguese Government that were part of the Presidential retinue on this official visit to the Scandinavian country.
Royal Palace in Oslo
As included in the programme of the official visit to Norway, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva met with King Harald and Queen Sonja in the Royal Palace, in Oslo.
Research of the Seas
At the beginning of his official visit to Norway, the President of the Republic presided, in Oslo, at the opening of a Seminar on Cooperation in Science and Technology of the Oceans between Portugal and that Scandinavian country, in which researchers, entrepreneurs and representatives of bodies connected with the sea from both States took part.
