Speech addressed to military personnel
The President of the Republic presided, in Feira Square, Lamego, at the Military Ceremony held in celebration of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, in which took part representative units of the three Branches of the Armed Forces.

The President of the Republic visited, in Lamego city centre, the area of Complementary Military Activities, exhibited there by the three branches of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the National day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities.
Dinner in Lamego Museum
On the occasion of the celebrations of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, which were held in the city of Lamego, the foreign Diplomatic Corps presented compliments to the President of the Republic, in a ceremony which took place in the City’s Museum.
Debate promoted by the National Youth Council
Included in the programme of the Celebrations of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, the President of the Republic attended the closure of the Youth Meeting “The Essence of Inwardness and the Challenges of Junior Emancipation”, organized by the National Youth Council.

Award of the City’s Gold Medal
The President of the Republic attended a Welcoming Ceremony held in Lamego County Hall, which signalled the celebration of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities in that city.
Beginning of Celebrations in Lamego
At the beginning of the celebrations of National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, the President of the Republic attended, in Visconde Guedes Teixeira Avenue, the raising of the National Standard, next the Cathedral and fronting the Stairway of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remédios, which dominates the central zone of the city.
Handover of the symbolic token
The President of the Republic attended, in Lamego, a first ever Handover Ceremony of the City-Venue of the National Day of Portugal, between the County Councils of Guarda and Lamego, chosen as the venues for the 10th June celebrations in 2014 and 2015.

The President of the Republic journeyed to several symbolic features of interest in the region known as the Romanic Route, in Resende County.
