Following the meeting that the President called to be held with a deputation of Solidarity Institutions, the Presidency of the Republic publishes the following notice:
Audience in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, a deputation of Solidarity Institutions, representing the Union of Portuguese Almshouses, the Union of Portuguese Mutual Societies, the National Confederation of Solidarity Institutions, the Federation of Food Banks against Hunger and Caritas Portugal.
The President of the Republic addressed a message to Parliament concerning the enacting of the bill that transfers legal authority from civil governments and civil governors to other Public Administration bodies in issues where legislative authority rests with Parliament.

Closure of event at the Faculty of Sciences
The President of the Republic presided, in the Lisbon Faculty of Sciences, at the Closing Session of the Global Entrepreneurialism Week and the Silicon Valley Comes to Lisbon event.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Governing Officers of the Association of the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Industry (Apiframa).

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the President of the Madeira Regional Government, Dr. Alberto João Jardim.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff, General Luis Evangelista Esteves Araújo
Audience in Belem
President of the Republic received the Governing Officers of the Portuguese Academy of History.
Closed for more than 50 years, the Palace of the Cascais Citadel, entrusted to the Presidency of the Republic, retrieves its role from 25 November onwards, after extensive rehabilitation of the whole building, as well as the Chapel of Our Lady of Victory and surrounding exterior areas.
Ambassador Fernando Manuel de Gouveia Araújo
The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador Fernando Manuel de Gouveia Araújo, to hand him the letters credential as the Portuguese diplomatic representative in Doha, capital of Qatar.
