The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador Jaime Leitão, to present him with his letters credential as Portugal’s diplomatic representative in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The President of the Republic today asked the Constitutional Court to check on the constitutionality of the following measures in the State’s Budget Law for 2013:
- Article 29 - suspension of the payment of the holiday subsidy or equivalent;
- Article 77 - suspension of the payment of the holiday subsidy or equivalent of pensioners;
- Article 78 - additional solidarity contribution.”

In the terms of the Constitution and in line with the legislation in force, the President of the Republic received today the Justice Minister in order to grant the traditional seasonal remissions.
