On the beginning of the second day of his State Visit to Colombia, the President of the Republic was received in the Supreme Court of Justice, where he held a meeting with the President of the Court, Ruth Marina Diaz, and addressed a speech to the plenary court of the Colombian tribunal.

Arrival in the Colombian capital
The President of the Republic arrived in Bogotá to carry out a three day State Visit to Colombia, at the invitation of his Colombian counterpart Juan Manuel Santos.
The President of the Republic appointed as members of the Organizing Committee of the Celebrations of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, presided over by Dr. José Albino Silva Peneda, Dr. Fernando Carpinteiro Albino, Architect Ana Maria Bustorff Silva Marques Martinho, Commander Manuel Rui Azinhais Nabeiro and Prof. Doctor Carlos Alberto Martins Portas.

The President of the Republic empowered, in the Palace of Belém, the six new members of the Government.

The President of the Republic opened, in Lisbon, the international conference “Portugal in the European and Worldwide Balance of Power”, which launched a debate on the current and future Portuguese relations with various Worldwide regions, comprised in the Routes to the Future Iinitiative, and in which took part national and international individualities.
