Irish music and poetry
The President of the Republic attended, in Lisbon, a performance of Irish music and poetry presented in his and Mrs. Cavaco Silva’s honour on the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, and Mrs. Sabina Higgins.
Palace of Ajuda
On the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of the Republic of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, and Mrs. Sabina Higgins, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a dinner in Ajuda National Palace, during which President Cavaco Silva and his Irish counterpart delivered speeches.
