Decoration of Bulgarian individualities
The last event of the State Visit to Bulgaria ended in the Chancellery of Sofia University, where the President of the Republic decorated with the grade of Commanders of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator three Portuguese language Bulgarian teachers.
Professors Snejina Stefanova Tomova and Zdravka Naydenova Ivanova, the latter also a translator, and lecturer Rumen Borislavov Stoyanov who is also an actor and essayist, received the decorations from President Cavaco Silva in a ceremony to which Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev was also a guest.
The President of the Republic then delivered an address.
The event was concluded with a Fado performance featuring Ana Moura, followed by a reception.
