Guard of honour of horsemen and pilgrims
The President of the Republic officially opened, in Santarém, the National Agricultural Fair.
Welcomed by a guard of honour of traditionally garbed horsemen and pilgrims, President Cavaco Silva made a round of several areas of the fairground, exhibiting agricultural machinery, cattle raising and forestry operations, as well as the institutional and commercial facilities.
