President Cavaco Silva embarked on further campaign of the Route to a Dynamic Economy

The President of the Republic began, in the counties of Oeiras and Alcobaça, the second campaign of the Route to a Dynamic Economy, which took him to several intermediate sized companies whose industrial processes are imbued with highly innovative technology and which export the greater part of their production.

In Linda-a-Velha, President Cavaco Silva visited the Edol Laboratory, a pharmaceutical producing company, specializing in liquid and semi-solid cutaneous membranes and sterile ophthalmic solutions.

Later, in Benedita, the President visited Solancis, a company specializing in ornamental stonework, which uses innovative equipment for cutting and polishing natural stone panels.

At the end of the morning the President went round the Alfeizerão International Equestrian Centre (CEIA), one of the largest enterprises in the Western region, which comprises one of the greater sized equestrian complexes in Europe and the largest covered riding school in the country.
