Panama Canal
On the occasion of the XXIII Iberian American Summit of Heads of State and of Government, w2hidh is being held in the Panamanian capital, the President of the Republic visited the Panama Canal.
Accompanied by the Prime Minister, Pedro Passos Coelho, and by the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Rui Machete, President Cavaco Silva travelled to the Canal’s Visitors Centre and viewed the activity at the Miraflores Lock, where ships of different tonnages make the crossing between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
