The President of the Republic congratulated athletes Armando Costa, José Macedo and Luis Silva for having conquered a silver medal in the BC3 Doubles competition in the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
Following is the text of the congratulatory message from President Cavaco Silva:
“I congratulate athletes Armando Costa, José Macedo and Luis Silva for having conquered a silver medal in the BC3 Doubles competition in the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
Becoming paralympic vice-champions in this Boccia event has confirmed their excellent level in sportsmanship, both in terms of individual and team performance, and is the final achievement in a span of many national and international titles.
