Preliminary screening in the Cinemateca
The President of the Republic attended the preliminary screening of the film “Tabu”, by director Miguel Gomes, held in the Portuguese Cinema Museum (“Cinemateca”), in Lisbon.
President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva were received by the Museum Director, Mrs. Maria João Seixas, and the President had the opportunity to congratulate the director and producer of the film being screened for the success of their work, which had already received international accolade.
Following a brief welcome address from Mrs. Maria João Seixas, both director Miguel Gomes and producer Luis Urbano delivered short speeches.
The film was then viewed by the President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva and remaining guests.
