The President of the Republic called a meeting of the Council of State to discuss the Portuguese Presidency of the EU

The President of the Republic called a meeting of the Council of State, to be held on June 15, at 18.00 hours, in order to discuss the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the second half of 2007.

The President invited the President of the European Commission to brief the Council of State on the challenges which are currently facing the European Union.
