New members of the Council of State

In the terms of the provisions of article No. 142 of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic, the President of the Republic appointed five individualities as members of the Council of State.

The five new members of the Council of State appointed by the President of the Repulic are:

     - Prof. Doctor João Lobo Antunes
     - Prof. Doctor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa
     - Dr. Maria Manuela Ferreira Leite
     - Dr. Manuel Dias Loureiro
     - Eng. Miguel Anacoreta Correia

The date when the new members of the Council of State will take office will opportunally be announced.
