President attends remembrance ceremony of 50th Anniversary of “Capelinhos” Volcano

Uma sessão comemorativa dos 50 anos da erupção do Vulcão dos Capelinhos, realizada no Teatro Faialense, na Horta, contou com a presença do Presidente da República, que assistiu à estreia de uma peça musical de homenagem ao vulcão, composta pelo Maestro Eurico Carrapatoso e interpretada pela Orquestra Clássica da Horta, bem como à apresentação de um documentário histórico sobre a erupção, realizado pela RTP-Açores.
