Closure of the 2nd Campaign
Several individualities, who distinguished themselves as innovatory agents throughout their lives and in the exercise of their activities, were decorated by the President of the Republic, in Castelo Branco, during the closure of the 2nd Campaign of the Route to Innovatory Local Communities, held in the province of Beira Baixa.

Innovation in the Rural World was the centre of attention on the second day of the 2nd Campaign of the Route to Innovatory Communities, which the President of the Republic carried out in Beira Baixa.
At the end of the first day of the Campaign of the Route to Innovatory Local Communities, held in the province of Beira Baixa, the President of the Republic chose cultural innovation as an example of local initiative and visited, in Belmonte, in the Museum of the Discoveries, the Interpretation Centre “The Discovery of the New World”.
Continuing the 2nd Campaign of the Route to Innovatory Local Communities, the President of the Republic officially opened, in Unhais da Serra, Covilhã, the H2otel Termal, an innovatory hotel and spa built on the location of the former spa and included in a circuit of historic villages and of shale villages, connected to the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
Beginning the 2nd Campaign of the Route to Innovatory Local Communities, which is being held in the province of Beira Baixa, the President of the Republic officially opened, in the Castelo Branco Industrial Park, the Agro-Food Technological Support Centre.
