Presidential address
At the closure of the 1st Campaign of the Route to the Innovatory Communities, which was held in the Entre Douro e Vouga Region, the President of the Republic decorated several personalities and institutions which distinguished themselves as innovators throughout their lives or in the exercise of their activities.
Tensai Industrial Facility
The President of the Republic visited the Estarreja Entrepreneurial Eco-park, and was received in the Tensai Portugal industrial facilities, where he witnessed the signature of a protocol covering innovation, between Aveiro University and Estarreja County Council.

Commencing the second day of the 1st Campaign of the Route to the Innovatory Communities, the President of the Republic visited, in Murtosa, the Association of Friends of the Ria and of the Barco Moliceiro (Algae Vessel) and took a walk along the Ria de Aveiro Cycle Path.
Performances of the Academy’s students
Communities, and within the scope of cultural innovation, the President of the Republic visited the Espinho Music Academy, where he listened to the presentations of several students and to a concert performed the city’s Classical Orchestra.
CERCI Espinho
Following his Route of the Local Innovatory Communities, the President of the Republic visited three greatly successful instances of social innovation in the counties of the Entre Douro e Vouga Region.
Enterprising innovation under view
At the beginning of a new Route, dedicated to the Local Innovatory Communities, the President of the Republic visited the Flex 2000 Company, a subsidiary of the Cordex Group located in the Ovar Industrial Zone, which carried out the innovatory production of flexible polyurethane foam and exports three quarters of its volume of production.
