The President initiated the 4th Campaign of the Route to Inclusiveness in the Casa Pia Institute
At the start of the 4th Campaign of the Route to Inclusiveness, dedicated to “Inclusion of Retarded Persons”, the President of the Republic visited the Jacob Rodrigues Pereira Institute, of the Casa Pia de Lisboa, dedicated to persons with auditive deficiencies.

Focus on the inclusion of Retarded People

The President of the Republic visited enterprises which employ retarded persons and the association which provides them with professional training
In the second stage of the 4th Campaign of the Route to Inclusiveness, dedicated to Retarded Persons, the President of the Republic visited the ARFAI – IGM Faianças companies, in the Alcobaça area, and the Association for Development and Professional Training, in Miranda do Corvo, as well as the Equestrian Centre of this association.

Support for retarded citizens

President Cavaco Silva met with institutions that work with retarded persons
The President of the Republic met with the Mayor of Viseu, the Provisioner of the Retarded and with seven institutions which work with retarded persons in the area of the county, thus finalizing the second day of the Route to Inclusiveness dedicated to Retarded Persons.
