The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the President of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski, over the victims of railway a railway accident occurred near Szczekociny.
Following is the text of the message of condolences sent by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:
“Mister President,
I was deeply concerned when advised of the tragic consequences resulting from the railway accident occurred in the line between Warsaw and Krakow, near Szczekociny.
In this hour of mourning, I want to convey to Your Excellency, to the victims’ families and to the Polish People, on behalf of the People of Portugal and in my own personal name, our very deepest feelings of sorrow and solidarity.
