President of the Republic sends congratulatory message to João Rodrigues, European Olympic Windsurf Champion

The President of the Republic sent the following congratulatory message to João Rodrigues, who won the European Olympic Windsurf (RS:X Class) Competition. 

"On being advised of your victory in Brest, France, thus receiving the title of European Olympic Windsurf (RS:X Class) Champion, I wish to congratulate you for this sports achievement and by the extraordinary endeavour you have demonstrated as an athlete, already confirmed by your previous results.

This victory witnesses the dedication and perseverance you have shown in your sports activities, the best means for achieving success.

Please accept my congratulations and sincere good wishes for your personal happiness and continued sports activities
