President of the Republic congratulates judoka João Neto for the gold medal awarded in the European Judo Championship

The President of the Republic sent a congratulatory message to judoka João Neto, who conquered the gold medal in the < 81 Kg category in the European Judo Championship. Following is the text of the message:

"I wish to congratulate you for the excellent grade achieved in the European Judo Championship, in Lisbon, where you were awarded the gold medal in the < 81 Kg category.

Upon climbing to the podium in this competition, your notable classification is a relevant contribution for the value of sports in Portugal and an important encouragement for young Portuguese sportsmen.

Please accept my congratulations and my sincere wishes for your personal happiness and good fortune in sports.
