Message of congratulations from the President of the Republic to Casa Ermelinda Freitas – Vinhos Lda., regarding the award of the Prize for the Best Wine in the “Vinalies Internacionales” contest

Upon being advised of the notable award attributed to the Syrah 2005 wine, as the best red wine in the prestigious contest “Vinalies Internacionales 2008”, held in Paris, I wish to congratulate you as well as all the workers and staff of Casa Ermelinda Freitas – Vinhos Lda., for the prize received.

This important award, which gives great prestige to your Company, will also be a relevant contribution for the strengthening of the international recognition of the excellent quality of Portuguese wines.
