Concert given in return
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in Foz palace, Lisbon, a concert offered in their honour by the President of Turkey and Mrs. Hayrunnisa Gül, this being followed by a reception.
Presidents close Economic Forum
The Presidents of the Republic of Portugal and Turkey presided at the closure, in Lisbon, of the Entrepreneurial Forum between both countries, which took place during the Official Visit to Portugal of the Turkish Head of State.

The President of the Republic held a meeting with the Ambassadors of the Member States of the Portuguese Speaking Community, on the occasion of the CPLP’s Day of Portuguese Language and Culture – celebrated on 5 May – whom he later hosted at luncheon.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker.
The President of the Republic requested from the Constitutional Court the preventative supervision of provisions comprised in legislation covering inter-municipal bodies concerning the transfer of powers from the State to the local authorities.
