Encounter in Culturgest
The President of the Republic attended the Closure of 10th COTEC National Innovation Encounter, held in the Culturgest Auditorium, in Lisbon, during which he addressed a speech.
Decoration ceremony
On the 2nd anniversary of the declaration, by UNESCO, of “Fado” as an Intangible World Heritage, the President of the Republic decorated “Fado” singers Maria Argentina Santos and Vicente da Câmara, and guitarist Carlos Gonçalves, as Commanders of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
Cerimony at Belém
The President of the Republic appointed Judge Councillor Guilherme d’Oliveira Martins for a further mandate as Auditor General.
The President of the Republic requested the Constitutional Court to exercise the preventive supervision of the constitutionality of rules contained in the bill that establishes the convergence of the regime of social protection for public servants with the general regime of social security.

Unit in Alverca
The President of the Republic visited OGMA-Portuguese Aeronautical Industries, in Alverca, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the aeronautical construction and maintenance company.
New facilities in Alfragide
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act, in Alfragide, Amadora, the Global Distribution Centre of Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN), which the Company decided to install in Portugal, having locally contracted approximately 1,500 Portuguese university graduates.
In line with the provisions of item m) of article no. 133 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic appointed Judge Councillor Guilherme d’Oliveira Martins for a further mandate as Auditor General.
The empowerment ceremony will be held on 26 November, at 15:30 hours.
Audience in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Chairman of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Dr. Artur Santos Silva, and Director Dr. Teresa Patrício Gouveia.
New Ambassadors
The President of the Republic received letters credential from the new Ambassadors in Portugal.
Visit to Almshouse Church
The President of the Republic presided at the commemorative ceremony of the 500th Anniversary of Braga Holy Almshouse, during which he delivered a speech.
