The President of the Republic will decorate the Former President of the Republic General António Ramalho Eanes with the Grand Collar of the Order of Freedom and the last Governor of Macau, Lieutenant General Vasco Rocha Vieira, with the Grand Cross of the Military Order of Torre e Espada, of Value, Loyalty and Merit.

The President of the Republic decorated, with the grade of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator, the Chairman of the Portuguese Football League, Dr. Fernando Gomes, and with several grades of the Orders of Prince Henry the Navigator and of the Order of Merit, the players, coaches and managers of the National Beach Soccer Team which, in 2015, had won the World and European Championships of this sport.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Chairman of the French cultural start-up incubator Louvre Lens Vallée, Bruno Cavaco, who is also a Municipal Councillor in Lens, responsible for Higher Education and Technological Innovation.

The President of the Republic visited Pinhel County, where he officially opened the Municipal Museum and the Tourism Office.
