Meeting with Rosen Plevneliev
The President of the Republic held a meeting in Braga, today, with his Bulgarian counterpart, Rosen Plevneliev, within the programme of the X Informal Meeting of Arraiolos Group Heads of State, which is taking place in Portugal this year.
Meeting in Braga
Included in the programme of the X Informal Meeting of Arraiolos Group Heads of State, now taking place in Braga, the President of the Republic held a working breakfast meeting with his Finnish counterpart, Sauli Ninistö.
The President of the Republic congratulated the National Table Tennis Team upon having conquered the title of European Champion in the tournament held in Lisbon.

Agro-industrial activity
The President of the Republic visited, in Figueira da Foz, the Lusiaves Incubation Centre, in celebration of the 35th anniversary of this group in the agro-industrial poultry sector.
Visit in Oliveira de Azeméis
The President of the Republic officially opened, in Oliveira de Azeméis, the new facilities of Proleite, on the 50th anniversary this Milk Producers Agricultural cooperative Society.
Presentation of letters credential
The President of the Republic received letters credential from new Ambassadors to Portugal.
Audience in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Governing Officers of the Gulbenkian Foundation, who promoted the platform “Health in Portugal”, to approach a new vision on health and health care in the country, and to present him with a report prepared by a committee of international and national experts, headed by Lord Nigel Crisp.
Solidarity Tournament
The President of the Republic attended the prize award dinner of the 8th “Portugal Solidarity Cup” Golf Tournament, which enjoys his High Patronage, and during which the competition’s revenues were presented to “Existir – Association for the Intervention and Rehabilitation of Disabled and Disadvantaged Persons”, headquartered in Loulé.
Ajuda National Palace
On the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Mrs. Ani Bambang Yudhoyono, President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a dinner in Ajuda National Palace, at the beginning of which both President Cavaco Silva and his Indonesian counterpart delivered speeches.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Secretary General of the Internal Security System, Dr. Helena Fazenda.
