Court of Auditors celebrated anniversary
The President of the Republic presided at the Commemorative Ceremony of the 160th Anniversary of the Court of Auditors, where he addressed a speech.

Portuguese Speaking Games in the Atlantic Pavilion
The President of the Republic presided at the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Portuguese Speaking Games, which was held in the Atlantic Pavilion, Park of the Nations, in Lisbon, their motto being “Union is stronger than victory”.
The Iberian International Nanotechnology Laboratory – INL will be officially opened on 17 July instant, in Braga, during a ceremony with the presence of the President of the Republic, the King of Spain, the Portuguese Prime Minister and the Spanish Head of Government, as well as members of both Governments and individualities from both countries.
Supreme National Defence Council meeting
The Supreme Council for National Defence met, in an ordinary session, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic received the Speakers and the Deputy Speakers of Parliament, together with the leaders of the Parliamentary Party Representatives, on the occasion of the closure of the Legislative Year.
Portuguese Society of Cardiology received in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Officers of the Portuguese Society of Cardiology.
The State Visit to Portugal of the President of the People’s Republic of China, Hu Jintao, planned to take place on 10 and 11 July has been postponed at the request of the Chinese Authorities, following the events in the Xingjian Uygur Autonomous Region.
The Visit will be held as soon as conditions so permit, on a date to be set through diplomatic channels.
