Decoration award ceremony
The President of the Republic decorated, in the Palace of Belém, a group of individualities from Academia and Culture as well as the Home of the Artist.
Decorations were awarded to the following entities, with the respective grades of the Honorific Orders:
Audience in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Board of Directors of the Institute for the Promotion and Development of Latin America (IPDAL).
Ambassador Pedro Catarino
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Representative of the Republic for the Azores Autonomous Region, Ambassador Pedro Catarino.
Military University Institute
The President of the Republic presided, in the Military University Institute, in Lisbon, at the farewell ceremony that the Armed forces organized for their Supreme Commander.
Independence Palace
The President of the Republic visited the Historical Society of Portuguese Independence, where he delivered an address.
Audience to LBP
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the governing officers of the League of Portuguese Firemen.
Audience in Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, Prof. Doctor Adriano Moreira and Dr. Nazim Ahmad, Representative in Portugal of the Aga Khan Development Network.
General Artur Pina Monteiro
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, General Artur Pina Monteiro.
Award Ceremony
The President of the Republic graduated, posthumously, Dr. Gaspar Castelo-Branco, on the 30th anniversary of the assassination of the former Director General of Gaols.

The President of the Republic decorated eight former members of Governments with the Grand Cross of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
