The President of the Republic requested from the Constitutional Court the preventive supervision of a provision in the Bill that approved the juridical rulings of the Intelligence System of the Portuguese Republic.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador Pedro Manuel Carqueijeiro Lourtie, to deliver his letters credential as Portuguese diplomatic representative in Tunis, Tunisia.
Overflying Alqueva Dam
The President of the Republic carried out a visit to the Sphere of Influence of the Alqueva area, in Southern Alentejo, overflying the dam with the same name, some of the related infrastructures and several agricultural developments benefiting from the Alqueva irrigation system.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, the new Portuguese Standing representative with the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), in Vienna, Ambassador Graça Mira Gomes.
