Audiences in Belém
The President of the Republic concluded the audiences granted to the political parties that had elected members to Parliament, having received representatives from the Portuguese Communist Party, from the Ecologist Party “The Greens” and from People-Animals-Nature.
Audiences in the Palace of Belém
In the terms and for the purposes of §1 of article no. 187 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic commenced hearing the delegations of the political parties which had elected Members of Parliament.

Funds intended for social solidarity
The President of the Republic attended the prize award dinner of the 9th edition of the “Portugal Solidarity” Golf Tournament, of which he is the Patron and which, since the beginning of the initiative, has attributed almost half a million euros to social solidarity institutions.
Charity Tournament
The President of the Republic attended the tee-off of the 9th “Solidarity Portugal” Golf Tournament, held in Salgados Golf Course, in Albufeira, whose revenues will revert in favour of the Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery of D. Estefânia Paediatric Hospital, in Lisbon, through the Grow Healthy Association.
Ambassador Francisco Vaz Patto
The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador Francisco Vaz Patto, to deliver his letters credential as Portuguese diplomatic representative in Bangkok, Thailand.
Once the electoral results of the suffrages held in Europe and ex-Europe for the General Election have now been made known, the President of the Republic, in line with the provisions of §1 of article No. 187 of the Constitution will hear, on 20 and 21 October instant, the political parties with elected Members of Parliament.

Decoration ceremony
The President of the Republic decorated, with the grade of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator, Prof. Doctor Carlos Blanco de Morais, who has relinquished his duties as Consultant on Juridical and Constitutional Issues with the Presidential Civil Office.
