Palace of Ajuda
On the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a dinner, held in Ajuda National Palace, at the beginning of which both Presidents delivered speeches.
Rosen Plevneliev received in Belém
At the beginning of the State Visit he is holding to Portugal, the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, met with President Cavaco Silva in the Palace of Belém.
The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, will be holding a State Visit to Portugal, on 2 and 3 November, responding to the invitation addressed by President Cavaco Silva during the latter’s visit to Bulgaria in June ultimo.
Ceremony in Ajuda Palace
The President of the Republic empowered, in Ajuda National Palace, the Prime Minister, the Ministers and the Secretaries of State of the XX Constitutional Government, where he addressed a speech.
The President of the Republic, in the terms of item h) of article no 133 of the Constitution, accepted the proposal that was put forward today by the appointed Prime Minister, Dr. Pedro Passos Coelho, for the appointment of the following individualities to the office of Secretaries of State:
Reindustrialization in Europe in focus
The President of the Republic took part, in Rome, with his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella and with King Filipe VI of Spain, in the closing session of the X COTEC Europa Meeting, where he addressed a speech.

The President of the Republic met, in Rome, with the Portuguese entrepreneurs taking part in the X Europa COTEC Meeting, which was held in the Italian capital.

The President of the Republic received letters credential from new Ambassadors in Portugal.

Following the hearings promoted with the political parties which elected Members of Parliament, the President of the Republic addressed a message to the Country concerning the appointment of the Prime Minister.
