At the end of the second day of the activities comprised in the Route to a Dynamic Economy, held in the Madeira Autonomous Region, the President of the Republic closed the 7th Campaign of this initiative in a session during which he delivered an address.
Research in innovation
Included in the programme of the 7th Campaign on the Route to a Dynamic Economy, the President of the Republic visited, in Funchal, the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute (M-ITI), comprised in the University of the Autonomous Region.
Production of farinaceous food pastes
The President of the Republic visited, in Caniçal, Machico, the Insular Company, a producer of farinaceous food pastes, included in the 7th Campaign on the Route toa Dynamic Economy.
Presentation of the Centre’s activities
The President of the Republic visited, in Caniçal, Machico County, the Madeira International Business Centre, where he viewed a presentation of the Centre’s activities.
Aquaculture in Caniçal
At the beginning of the second day of the 7th Campaign on the Route to a Dynamic Economy, held in the Madeira Autonomous Region, the President of the Republic toured the IlhaPeixe aquaculture unit, a breeder of bream.
Current projects
The President of the Republic attended, in Funchal, a presentation of development projects in the city’s harbour area.
Wine producing unit
Included in the scope of the 7th Campaign on the Route to a Dynamic Economy, The President of the Republic visited, in Câmara de Lobos, the new unit of Barbeito Wines, a producer of Madeira Wine.
Technology production in Ribeira Brava
The President of the Republic visited, in the town of Ribeira Brava, Madeira, the software development company ACIN-iCloud Solutions, as included in the programme of the 7th Campaign on the Route to a Dynamic Economy.
New Design Centre
In the beginning of the 7th Campaign on the Route to a Dynamic Economy, dedicated to the Madeira Autonomous Region, the President of the Republic inaugurated in the Molhe Building, in the Fortress of the Immaculate Conception, Funchal, the Nini Andrade Silva Design Centre.
