Charity tournament
The President of the republic attended, at the Victoria Oceanic Golf Course, the tee-off of the 6th “Solidarity Portugal” Golf Tournament, to which he granted his Sponsorship, revenues from which, deriving from the financial support provided by the company’s whose members took part in the competition, will revert to the benefit of the Cardiology Ward of Santa Cruz Hospital.
The President of the Republic returned to Parliament, without enacting it, Parliamentary Decree No. 61/XII, which establishes principles for the use of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and natural compressed and liquid gas (NG) as fuel for vehicles.

The Presidency of the Republic publishes the following communiqué:
The Presidency of the Republic, upon receiving information concerning the communiqué disclosed by the Government on Friday, 27 July, clarifying several features of the Parliamentary Decree that revises the legal regime of urban leasing – specifically as to the guarantee that contractual stability and social protection of tenants in more vulnerable situations is assured -, decided to enact the referred bill as Law.
