Audiences in Belém
Following the rejection, by Parliament, of the Programme of the XX Constitutional Government, the President of the Republic continued today receiving social partners and other bodies in the entrepreneurial area, in order to hear their views on the guidelines of economic and social policy to be followed in Portugal, safeguarding, in the future, growth in production and job creation.
In separate audiences, the President of the Republic received the trade union confederations (CGTP-IN and UGT), the Chairman of the Economic and Social Committee, the Association of Family Businesses and the Forum for Competitiveness.
