Museum of the Deceptive Douro Region
The President of the Republic visited Tabuaço County, where children, youths and students of the Senior University awaited him in the MDU – Museum of the Deceptive Douro Region, in whose gardens a musical presentation and a book fair were taking place.
In the Museum’s internal facilities President Cavaco Silva witnessed a partnership for the production of confectionery, subscribed by the Douromel Company and the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD).
At the end of the visit, in Tabuaço County Hall, an exhibition was school works was viewed and a commemorative session held where the President addressed a speech.
