The President of the Republic empowered new members of the Government in the Palace of Belém
Those empowered were the Minister of State and Finance, Dr. Maria Luis Casanova Morgado Dias de Albuquerque, the Assistant Secretary of State and for the Budget, Master Helder Manuel Gomes dos Reis, The Secretary of State for the Treasury, Dr. Joaquim Pais Jorge, the Secretary of State for Finance, Doctor Manuel Luis Rodrigues, the Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs, Dr. Paulo de Faria Lince Núncio and the Secretary of State for Public Administration, Dr. Helder Manuel Sebastiao Rosalino.
