Commemorations in the HIPISS
The President of the Republic presided at the ceremonies commemorating the Day of the Public Security Police, which was held in the Higher Institute of Police and Internal Security Sciences, in Lisbon.
Celebrating the occasion, the President decorated PSP with the grade of Honorary Member of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
Tributes were paid during the ceremony to members of PSP who had lost their lives in the service of the Nation.
After the lunch held in his honour, the President of the Republic awarded medals to five members of the police force that were distinguished for the merit of the work carried out in serving PSP.
