In the terms of item h) of article no. 133 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic accepted the proposal presented by the Prime Minister for the relinquishment, at his request, of Engineer Henrique Joaquim Gomes as Secretary of State for Energy.
In the terms of the same constitutional premise, the President of the Republic accepted the proposal presented by the Prime Minister for the appointment of Dr. Artur Álvaro Laureano Homem da Trindade to exercise the same office.
The President of the Republic will empower the new member of the Government tomorrow, 13 March, at 15:30 hours, in the Palace of Belém.
