1. The President of the Republic sent the Constitutional Court, today, Parliamentary Decree No. 37/XII, for the purpose of carrying out a preventive check on its constitutionality.
2. Considering the several issues raised concerning the constitutionality of this bill, that could place in question essential principles of the democratic Rule of Law, the President of the Republic decided that its coming into force should be preceded by the intervention of the Constitutional Court, in order that the criminalization of illicit enrichment could be processed without any possible risks of offending the fundamental rights of all citizens.
