Tribute paid to Porto individualities
The President of the Republic paid tribute to three Porto individualities at a merit recognition ceremony that followed the presentation of the refurbishment project under progress.
At the end of a visit to the city, the President decorated architect Eduardo Souto de Moura and Researcher Professor Doctor Maria Ângela Brito de Sousa, with the grade of Grand Officer of the Military Order of Sant’Iago of the Sword, and Engineer Francisco Nápoles Ferraz de Almeida e Sousa, with the grade of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
The President delivered an address during the ceremony.
