Meeting with CNJ
The President of the Republic received, in a public audience held in the Palace of Belém, the National Youth Council, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of its being set up.
Former and current officers of the Council, representing several associations and organizations, as well as public and private bodies connected to youth issues were present at the audience.
During the public audience which was held in the Hall of Fountains, the new CNJ Internet site was launched, as well as one other dedicated to the Council’s 25 years of existence.
The first Chairmen of the General Meeting and of the Board of CNJ, respectively Carlos Coelho and António José Seguro, as well as the current Chairman of the Board, José Filipe Sousa, delivered addresses in this public audience, which was closed by a speech delivered by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva.
