Arrival at the City of Praia

President of the Republic in Cape Verde for the 35th Anniversary of the Independence and on a State Visit

The President of the Republic arrived at the City of Praia to take part in the Ceremonies of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Cape Verde, and to carry out a two day State Visit at the invitation of his Cape Verde counterpart, Commander Pedro Pires.

Welcomed by the Head of State of Cape Verde and Mrs. Adélcia Pires, the President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva received the compliments of the foreign Diplomatic Corps accredited in Praia and attended the debut of the VIP Lounge of Praia Airport, recently opened.
