Following queries placed to the Presidency of the Republic by several members of the media, regarding the existence of a plan for the management of risks of corruption and related offences in the Presidency’s support services, the following is made public:
The plan for the management of risks of corruption and related offences in the Presidency of the Republic’s support services is in force since 1 January 2010, and was approved at a meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Presidency of the Republic held on 29 December 2009.
Thus, the Administrative Committee followed the recommendation of the Committee for the Prevention of Corruption dated 1 July 2009 with respect to the preparation of a plan for the management of risks of corruption, even though it considered as not being subject to such a requirement, due to the specific nature of the services of the Presidency of the Republic as a support structure of a sovereign body.
