The President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, Malam Bacai Sanhá, will hold an Official Visit to Portugal, on 4 and 5 December next, accompanied by his wife, in response to the invitation tendered by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva.
President Malam Bacai Sanhá and his wife will be welcomed at the Palace of Belém, by the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva, who will host a banquet in their honour, to be held in the Palace of Ajuda.
The official programme will also include meetings with the Speaker of the Portuguese Parliament and with the Prime Minister, as well as a visit to the head office of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), in Lisbon.
